Hi Memoria: Yes, I make all kinds of cakes for boys, but they’re usually not wearing dresses! Perhaps that is stereotypical, but why girls prefer fancy dresses and boys prefer dragons and trains is a question much larger than we can tackle here. I just try to make kids happy on their birthdays.

these bring back so many memories! my mom made these cakes for both my sister and i when we were younger, though fondant was completely foreign to her. i remember watching her for over an hour at a time using a star-shaped tip to create the dressesl. i look back now and see it was truly a labor of love.

Thanks for the great cake for my sweet girls 2nd birthday! It tasted as good as it looked. We cleaned the doll of frosting after the party. She took it to bed with her tonight after a long day of festivities….she calls the doll “Mira” after you.

Not sure when you have the time to do this sort of thing. You are amazing! N
