I’ve spent the past three days in Thailand, Kho Phagnan, doing yoga in the morning, sunbathing in the afternoon (with plenty of sunscreen of course!) and 2 hour massages in the evening. Paradise is nothing short of amazing.

My weekend was great. I picked a lot of potatoes from my garden and cookded them two hours later. Made some Puff pastry and from there made some puff pastry tarts with fresh cherries and rasberries I got from the Farmers market. Also made some bread. Joined Facebook….finally, but still have a lot of work to do to it. Played Racquetball which is my favorite way to get exercise and watched the final episode of Lost. I’m looking very forward to this weekend as it will be a four day weekend for me…:)

I probably will have a least 10 available for adoption.
They have grown from seeds in those little starter plastic trays. I will let you know when they’re ready. All you need to do is transplant them. Also, good idea about the hot peppers. I think Ace has the haricot vert seeds but Kentucky Wonder and Blue Lake beans are great too.

Hmmm… I was thinking about pole beans! Maybe I’ll pull out that pepper (why waste space) and put them there instead. Do you mean you have baby pumpkin plants up for adoption, that you started in small pots? I will def take one!

m- I will have lots of heirloom pumpkins up for adoption in about 2 weeks. Let me know if you’d like one/some. Also hard as I’ve tried, I never had much success with hot peppers, but then again, if they’re located where the sun shines and gives lots of heat it may work. They need hot weather a la Sacramento. Also cherry tomatoes grow abundantly here. Larger tomatoes need heat in this area they spend a lot of time arguing with the fog. Lastly(you’re probably out of garden space by now but pole beans do exceptionally well here and you can fairly easily buy the French haricot vert seeds. Have fun:)

Oh, there’s nothing better than a birthday party in the park! When I was little, that’s what we did every year. Now it seems parents try to go all-out with these “destination parties.” I’m glad you’re sticking to the basics with grass and sunshine. Your little one is a lucky girl!

Miriam, that is a beautiful picture. The color combination is perfect! Our weekend was great. Andreea turned 2 on Sunday and we had a big birthday party at the park. She had a blast and we did too.
